Hello drbryan123,

Well I just tried some HDG in some anchors, couplings, and plain nuts
and it did not fit without wire brushing the HDG off the end of the
rod. We use stainless quite a bit replacing hangers in the
parking garages here exposed to the salt air coming off the ocean in
Myrtle Beach.
