I have used Aide PDf to DXF with varying degrees of success. Sometimes it works great others not so great. I mostly use it to import roof framing plans and that type of thing. They have a free trial download so it costs nothing to try it out. http://www.aidecad.com/

I use AutoDWG. It converts a AutoCad created pdf file to a dwg file. Only problem is everything is is line segments including the text and everything is on one layer.
It is still better than redrawing.
