The other point being once again, as a sprinkler
designer/installer/inspector be aware of potential hazards.  Some high
intensity lighting fixtures can drop hot filament and glass fragments if
they break.  Without a guard below it, that would be the wrong type
fixture over combustible products.

Plus no fire marshal/AHJ had any responsibility for granting the C.O.?


I would hate to have to explain the technical issues of the fire
protection trade to the average American juror.
