When applying area reduction is it the intent to also reduce the lateral
distance of the design area by the same %? For example: without area
reduction the distance of the remote area along the branch line would be
1.2*w1500, (46.47') applying area reduction for a room with 10' ceilings
would allow me to reduce the design area by 40% which would be 900 sq.ft.
Can I then use 1.2*w900 (36') for the distance along the branch line?
