Anyone have a firm dimension on adding heads under an exterior overhang when
combustibles are present. Combustible construction over 4' gets heads but
what if there are combustibles under an overhang that is 2' (or any
dimension under 4'). I don't believe 8.14.7 of the '02 is written in
hierarchical order or dependant on each other. 8.14.7.4 roof or canopies
where combustibles are used or stored, period. Which around here this is
every Quickie Mart. Have one official wanting heads in an 18" overhang wood
frame. Can't say if he's right or wrong. Handbook isn't any help.
