I recall someone talking about replacing old Exhausters with solenoid operated valves, connected to a pressure switch and 45 Second timer using the intermediate chamber to activate the PS. I remember thinking at the time that this was an Un-listed application of the valve, pressure switch and timer. I don't remember where this was but I thought, yeah that might work, if it got listed.

Does anyone still Mfg. exhauster's?
If not the only listed way to go might be a new DPV with electronic accelerator, Have the system re-calced using the TYCO delivery time software. or split the system into two smaller systems to avoid the delivery time issue entirely.

Good Luck!

Subject: Star model BB Exhauster

Hello sprinklerforum,

We have a Star Model BB Exhauster installed in a large nursing home
that is in need of a rebuild. It seems those rebuild kits are
unavailable. What has everyone been doing to meet delivery times in
an existing system when the exhauster is no longer functional?
