Assume you are using an RSV domestic shutoff valve on 13-D systems and
separate service lead-ins for the 13-R. Are there any requirements for hose
stream allowances?

NFPA 13R (2002 Edition) See 6.5.5 and A6.5.5 for domestic demands. NFPA
13D (2002 Edition) see 6.3 (1) for domestic demand.

Subject: Hose allowance on 13-R systems
Is there a requirement in 13-R for any allowance for hose? If so, how
much, and where is it printed? Do requirements of NFPA-13 such as
allowance for hose streams apply to 13-R and 13-D systems, when nothing
to the contrary is written in the 13-R and 13-D standards?
