USA rules only allow it in use for light hazard occupancy, like nursing
homes, offices with quick response sprinklers. Usually it is above a ceiling
or in a soffit to keep the pipe protected. Does this help?
Art
Forum,
is there a ruling associated within the marine area for the
protection of passengers (8) on a 30metre vessel required to have sprinklers
installed, we are using CPVC. CPVC is used due to the vessel being
renovated, and comes under the rule here in Australia for protection to
USLC-2B classification, the use of steel piping is/was virtually impossible.
Any assistance with this curly one, would be appreciated.
Regards,
John Luxford.
