I assume the Siamese connection does not have clappers, else, how would you
backwards flow through it? Just making sure that was considered.

Subject: Re: full forward flow testing backflow

I need to full forward flow test a backflow.
I am going to flow through the FDC siamese connection and use a hose monster to
measure the flow.
How much flow do I want? Do I reference the hydraulic calc sticker on the riser?
What about the systems that don't have hydraulic calc stickers or are pipe
scheduled?

The NFPA Research Foundation conducted tests for these types of storage
systems. I would check there.
