This is the gasket I sent out so I am going to re-order them as tri-seal
just to be safe.
Thanks for all the help.

Subject: manual dry standpipes - grv cplgs

Is it alright to use standard grv cplgs on a manual dry standpipe for a
parking garage instead of the "tri-seal" type made by Tyco?
I have a fitter that is worried that water will be left in the std cplg
after testing that may freeze. What did they do in the old days before
Tri-seal cplgs?
Thanks,
Dewayne
