Members, Im interested in standby and or metering fees. Specifically the metering arrangement and associated charges for 1) separate fire and domestic services and 2) combination services. In analyzing fees from a water purveyor I found that the larger 2 meter size on a combination service resulted in metering charges 2 ½ times that of water service utilizing a 1 domestic meter and a separate fire service where no metering was required.
