You will need to determine what level quality of air is required by your
client. You noted that your client is in the biomedical field which could
require Medical Air grade compressor and piping (oil-less type compressor for
medical air, desiccant dryers and brazed copper pipe with brazing done while
pipe is purged with oil free nitrogen gas) see NFPA 99 for additional info.

If biomed there will be a maximum level of debris permitted in the piping as
allowed by the FDA.

You will need to discuss needs with client.

Subject: Compressed Air Piping

I'm looking to specify a central plant air system for a testing client to
put on the street.
I've come up with a size but to save pipe size, I'd like to run 80-100 PSI
air through their facility.
Should I specify seamless and malleable/di or copper brazed? PR at use
points, 22 locations, 25 floors.
The building is new. Biomedical use if that applies.
Thanks.
