Even the Seton snap on style need to be compatible since they are in contact
with the CPVC, just like the wire insulation spray foams fire stopping and
the list goes on.

Probably your best route of action.  EOR probably doesn't know there's any
issue anyway.

If there's any issues with adhesive based pipe markers what about using the
snap on style that requires no adhesive?
