Two brands that have worked well for us over the years are Bermad and Cla-Valve, but I think that most manufacturers of hydraulic control valves, including Wilkins, OCV and others, make a serviceable version.

I have a location where there is a 4" float valve to fill a break tank of about 8000 gallons from domestic water. The valve is now leaking past and will not shutoff when the tank gets full. The owner wants to replace the valve. It is a straight pattern valve FxF. Who makes a good reliable valve for something like this? The top of the tank is about 20 feet AFF IN a room with only about 2 feet between the walls of the tank and the walls of the room. -- Best regards, Charles Thurston mailto:[email protected] Coastal Fire Protection _______________________________________________ Sprinklerforum mailing list http://lists.firesprinkler.org/mailman/listinfo/sprinklerforum For Technical Assistance, send an email to: [email protected] To Unsubscribe, send an email to:[email protected] (Put the word unsubscribe in the subject field) __________ Information from ESET NOD32 Antivirus, version of virus signature database 4294 (20090731) __________ The message was checked by ESET NOD32 Antivirus. http://www.eset.com __________ Information from ESET NOD32 Antivirus, version of virus signature database 4294 (20090731) __________ The message was checked by ESET NOD32 Antivirus. http://www.eset.com _______________________________________________ Sprinklerforum mailing list http://lists.firesprinkler.org/mailman/listinfo/sprinklerforum For Technical Assistance, send an email to: [email protected] To Unsubscribe, send an email to:[email protected] (Put the word unsubscribe in the subject field)
