Would it be possible to stub up off a wet system into an attic area that is non conditioned space and protect the pipe with a liste heat trace system. Is there a size limit? 8.16.4.1.2 says small area but does not define.
I have Government agency proposing I do this. The area is actually 4 spaces of around 4,000 sq ft. All the supply mains woul be inside the heated envelope. It does not seem right, but? Dennis Browning
