Hi, We are contemplating sprinkler protecting a building which has a pvc coated polyester fabric roof. The manufacturers data says it will fail at 250 degrees celcius which is well above the 68 degree activation temperature of the sprinkler however if the fire is in between sprinklers the centreline temperature of the fire plume rises above 250 degrees C very quickly. Does anyone have any anecdotal experiences of fires in these types of structures with spirinklers installed?
