I submitted a proposal to 25 earlier this year to require such items be checked
during the annual and at least note when the 3 or 5 year items were due.  The
committee rejected it.  I do not recall the reason(s) for rejection, but it
would have been published in the Report on Proposals.  I have put my copy away
in storage, so cannot look it up easily.  It is on the NFPA.org website, if you
want to track it down.

When conducting an annual inspection, are we required to conduct all monthly
and quarterly items as well? I remembered reading it somewhere, and just
located where I think it may have been. It is under the form descriptions on
the top left of the examples provided in Annex B for quarterly and annual.
The monthly report list it contains all weekly items. I cannot find these
same statements in the body of the standard, thus the question. One could
argue that we are doing an annual the others are the owner's responsibility.
I include them with mine.
