903.3.7 Fire department connections. The location of fire

Others have already shared 905 standpipe and combination standpipe /

Subject: Fire Hydrants

I am wondering where ( if ) there is a specific code or requirement for the
FDC to be within 100' of a fire hydrant? I thought it was up to the local
fire department to make that call.................
