Less of a bath if they need to hook a 2nd hose up, or remove one.

Subject: FDC

We have a 90° Siamese double clapper FDC rising vertically from the ground.
The double clapper is hinged at the top. Is there a reason for the double
clapper instead of the more common single swinging clapper?
