Can you mix ordinary and high temp sprinklers in an ordinary hazard room? Does it make a difference if there is an 18" beam between them? I see the SR v QR clearly says no. But I don't see the same clear statement in the temperature portion.
I'm not suggesting it's a good idea, just what is minimally legal per 13. It's a big room of ministorage lockers that don't go to the clg. One bay was added and the SC used ordinary heads. The existing is high temp from the day it used to be HPS. There is an 18" beam. There are like 100 - 286's and maybe 10 - 165's. Chris Cahill, P.E.
