It is difficult to make an overall material vs labor statement. The last time I used them was on a hospital- the space between ceiling and bott of joist was a 36" mess- so I ran high- 1st trade in- roughed in like a warehouse (no problem hanging, zip-tie the connector, hydro), no drops in the way (talk about other trades jacking with your stuff!) then 3 months later, when the GC is warming up the cattle prod- you are in good shape, instead of just getting started.
