We are not sure-- the arch. Dwgs showed only 15 or 20 feet-- the new work is
on its own new system (I just realized that exception I mentioned might not
apply now)-- we did not think the exist wall was going to be demoed, but it
was.

How many heads would need to be changed out to make the whole corridor QR?
Are there any reasons why you cant change the heads?

Subject: Mixing QR and SR Heads

I could really use some advice/comments: Existing corridor, existing
standard coverage, standard response heads. As part of a re-model/building
addition, this corridor is lengthened.

In the new (lengthened) corridor, quick response, extended coverage heads
were designed. The heads 'quick responseness' is based on occupancy and
spacing. I know an exception for using standard response in light hazard is
when remodeling and existing heads are standard response. In an ord haz area
this head at 14X14 is QR, at 16X16 it is SR, but in light hazard it is quick
response up to the max (20X20). Any thoughts?
