With the new at least to me FM stuff does anyone know how to figure the
total number of heads and the shape?

I'm in the new 3-0 and it seems straight forward to determine the total
number of sprinklers with one exception. How do I round, sprinkler rounding
or mathematical rounding? In the number of sprinklers on a line they are
clear we mathematically round. But one of the variables is total number of
heads. My particular case I come up with 7.17 heads total (started with EC
25 6 at 30 but I'm a little less than 196 sq.ft.).

If I use 7.17 or 7 I come up with 3.42 heads/line and only calc 3, great.
But if I round to 8 like in normal NFPA world I come up with 3.6/line thus
calc 4. And we all know the impact of adding a head/line especially when
dealing with 138 gpm/head. Or is it both use 7.17 in the heads/line and 8
total in the calc?

My FM rep is gone for a bit and I'm trying to finish up some things. And
this is a primer for a lot of new concepts FM is throwing at us if you
haven't seen them yet. Wes Baker was out to our SFPE chapter meeting last
week and I left with my head spinning. From what I see in an edition or 2
this will be NFPA too.
