8.4.7 is the section for CMSA sprinklers. Therefore 8.4.7.2.1 is only
applying to sections with CMSA sprinklers. Is that what you are looking
for??

code book says that all steel pipe has to be internally galvanized but in
the handbook it elaborates a little more and says that requirement is only
for large drop sprinklers. Where did this "extra" tidbit of information in
the handbook come from?
