I don't have a specific answer, but you might want to look at the FM Global Data Sheet that covers ESFR. There might be something there.

Looking through the code book with regard to obstructions for ESFR heads I
can't find anything that talk about columns. All the other types of heads
give a table (beam rule) for this but I don't see anything like that for
ESFR heads. Can someone point me to the section for spacing ESFR heads with
regard to columns? Thanks!
