No. Dry pendant are only required on wet systems where the head penetrates into a cold space or on dry system drops (apart from the one exception where the system and drop are in conditioned spaces). Another interesting question: Could you substitute drops filled with an anti-freeze/water mixture for dry pendants on a dry system?
