Do you mean the room is some kind of secure communications? I did one recently- No metallic PENETRATION of the walls- (like an antenna) - I guess a non metallic coupling would be like breaking the antenna- I went steel up to the wall, steel to cpvc, cpvc through the wall, then back to steel.
