The question is will they slow the operation of the ceiling sprinklers, because they are 1) large enough 2) frequent enough to allow a serious amount of heat to pass above the ceiling delaying the operation of the ceiling level sprinklers? The second part is are they 1) large enough 2) frequent enough to allow enough heat to rise above the level of sprinkler protection to endanger the building structure or space above the ceiling?
