The reason I'm asking is because it is an ordinary hazard system and in the plans they spec the inspectors test routing to a hub drain in a janitors closet. It would be much easier to have one 11.2k orifice above the hub drain than two 5.6 k's.

The Q=k*sqrt(p) math says that it should be equal flow with equal pressure.
I guess you would have slightly less pressure with the 11.2 since there is
more flow(friction).

I just had an issue yesterday trying to get a flow valve to trip with a
remote test (one head) and thought the same thing (to look at using two
heads).

Good luck,

Just wondering if anyone have used an 11.2 K Orifice to substitute for two
5.6 k heads on an OH1 Dry Inspectors test? Shouldn't it be equivalent?
