I can ONLY imagine finding CAD in any format for remodels and then it goes
POOF as it seems to be a dream unless it was created in this office
originally. I would be glad to have hard copies to be able to use as 95% of
most remodels/renovates do not even have these and the customers aren't
always willing to look in their files or request from the original
contractor. When we find asbuilts on site we are in heaven.

Imagine being told they found the As Builts in CAD format for the hotel
renovation you're doing, and open the package only to pull out a 5.25"
floppy.

You'd design to 13 ARGH of course.

Well the placard with the English language and all info necessary shouldn't
become obsolete as the QR codes or flash drives may one day. Easier to
supply new placards to customers on a need basis when one gets old or
missing than it would be to keep up with technology everywhere and update
from obsolete CD's, flash drives, QR codes, etc.
