According to Table 8.6.2.2.1(a) in the 2010 ED of 13, You can space SSP's at 225 sq ft if "Combustible unobstructed with exposed members 3 ft or more on center"
However, there is no mention of the same scenario minus the exposed members - am I missing something? This question was asked by a local guy and I don't guess I have a conclusive answer...
