I want to say the 25,000 gallon tank we put in cost somewhere in the 75k neighborhood not inclusive of valves or the crane to set it. It was intended to be a 30k gallon tank but flying it onto a 10th floor penthouse with 100' setback from the street made it impossible to do with any reasonably available lifting equipment. The price difference for the downsizing wasn't that substantial really, I think at that point it's mostly down to material cost and freight, though freight may be an issue with a 40k, our tank came preassembled and tested on a single rig that was only slightly oversize. Depending on where it's getting set make sure you make ample allowance for lifting, I think the crane cost ended up pushing the installed cost with trimings etc over 100k. This was about 4 years ago and as I remember steel prices were still on the high side so they may be a little cheaper now? Mike Morey, SET, CFPS Sprinkler Designer BMW Constructors, Inc. Assume no heat, all the valves, fills and openings. No site work or foundation. Civil's problem. I have no idea if they are $10k's, $100k's, hope they aren't pushing $1,000,000. If you force me to guess I'd say $150-$200k?
