Todd,
I called my mfg. rep on this one and they said that all the rules that
apply to LH occupancies also would apply to OH under 400SF per 6.3.6.2.
So this means YES to being able to run exposed in those rooms.

Subject: exposed CPVC pipe in OH

I am working on a job where the contractor wants to use exposed CPVC
(not my idea). The occupancy is LH except for two rooms, a kitchen and a
laundry room, which are OH and are around 300 sqft each. Section 6.3.6.2
allows it in rooms up to 400 sqft, but says nothing about exposed. I
couldn't find anything in mfr literature. Any thoughts on this?
