FM loosens transverse flue requirements with in-racks, is this also the intention of 2010 NFPA 13. Transverse flue spaces remain very important to ceiling-only sprinkler protection.
16.2.4.2.3.2 ...if no transverse flues, then in-racks not to exceed maximum spacing 16.1.10.2. transverse flues are nominally 150-mm (6 inch). Because 16.2.4.2.3.2 is the more specific prescription, may we assume its precedence?
