Ladies/Gentlemen:

I recently learned, through a reliable source, that the BFP - inside a
structure - is required to be be the same size as the underground water supply
pipine: 6" UG requires 6" BFP, etc. - no 'down-sizing' at base of riser. My
source (certified BFP tech) says this is a requirement of USC "listing". This
was from a presentation at our State SFPE meeting on BFP's...Just wondering
if everyone else knew this "requirement" (none of us did).

Regards to All-

Jerry
