First someone has to require that the design be in accordance with FM Global
Criteria. Is that a requirement?

Once the appropriate FM Data Sheets have been identified and accepted as being
the correct ones, then the designer can begin and instead of using NFPA or some
other Standard as his guideline, he will apply the criteria from the
appropriate FM Data Sheets.

For the installer, nothing is different. He just needs to follow the
instructions given on the design documents. To those not used to dealing with
FM requirements, some things may look a little strange but as the installer,
his job is to install as directed by the documents.

Depending on where you are and local laws, the inspections are no different
than those for a system designed under NFPA. You inspect based on the design
criteria given. If the installation matches the design then there are no
issues.

Hello

For a company to design and install an FM fire fighting sprinkler installation,
are there any specific conditions as accreditation?

Does it have to be certified by FM Global, for design and installing ?

For final test what are the factors that I should take into consideration?(
inspector etc.?)

Thank you.
