It's important to keep "Class" 150 or 250 fittings differentiated from Psi listed or rated. The 300# listing is specific to fire sprinkler piping, where-as Class refers to a group of fittings for transmission of many substances including water at various temperatures. For example a (Class 300) S.S. fitting is rated for 720Psi @ 20-100'F but only 450Psi @ 600'F and 365Psi @ 1000'F. Class includes Pressure ratings, but ref. it to pressure.
