Check out NFPA 25 5.2.1.1. Also the Annex has some suggestions. I believe
that cellophane and paper can only be used to protect the head.

I dont have a copy of the Standard available; but there is a certain type of
plastic which is permitted.
The NFSA tested heads with plastic and they didn't work properly.
