Our client has gotten credits towards new extinguishers for recycling a bunch
of their old Halon units with their extinguisher provider (the containers
needed hydro and it's cheaper to sell the halon and get new non-halon units).
I'd imagine most companies that do large scale extinguisher and commercial
gaseous systems ought to be interested in giving you some dollars to relieve
you of them.

Subject: Halon Disposal?

I ran into a few tanks of Halon 1301 at a retrofit project. Is there anyone out
there that buys or recycles halon? Not sure what to do with it.
