Cosmoline:
"Notable Egyptologist Dr. Zahi Hawass recently disclosed that ancient
Egyptian mummification practices from the third to fifth dynasties utilized
a chemical compound molecularly similar to cosmoline."

Excelsior:
Banded into bale form, excelsior is also used in archery backstops,
comparable to how a straw bale would be used for the same purpose. If
protected from the elements, an excelsior archery backstop can last for many
years. If sections of it wear down because of repeated targeting, the bale
can be soaked liberally since it then expands and holds water, just like a
dry sponge.

Oil Paper:
It was said that during the Ching dynasty when 康熙 was on the throne, one
day 康熙 secretly travelled to Wuyuan and it was raining. 康熙 saw a kid who
threw a stone at the umbrella, however, the stone bounced back off from the
umbrella without damaging it. 康熙 was surprised by the quality and strength
of the oil paper umbrella and gave it a positive name called the "甲路紙傘甲
天下". It is then commonly called the "甲路傘".

Therefore Professor Greenman, I would say Class II,.,.,. final answer :) ;)

I'm guessing and hope someone can either verify or deny that items are
tested under the conditions in which they will be used, not how they'll be
stored. What commodity class is machine parts slathered in cosmoline,
wrapped in oil paper, visioned by excelsior, and packed in wooden crates,
p. Pallets?
