I'm looking at section 7.3.2 of NFPA 14 (2013). Subpart (1) says to locate valves "At the main floor landing in exit stairways." Note that "landing" is singular. Maybe my issue of 14 simply has a misprint. Can anyone else check their 14 to see if it's printed as "landing" or "landings"? I've been around long enough to know that 1 valve per stairway does not meet the intent.
