Gentlemen, I just left 2 buildings (4 story - circa 1985) where each of the core mechanical rooms were piped for sprinklers but they were capped off and not installed. This was in core mechanical and electrical rooms (2 per floor). The remainder of the buildings were sprinklered. These were standard office buildings.
