Subject: RE: WINDOWS 10

I have Windows 10 on my laptop and Surface Pro 4. It works best on the
Surface because it’s a touch screen and that is what Windows 8 and 10 were
specifically developed to encompass. If you look at the format of 8 and 10,
the boxed icons are ideally pulled around and launched via touch screen. We
run AutoCad and Revit seamlessly in our office … on Win 7. We have the
latest hardware and software platforms for our server, but run Win 7 on the
workstations because it’s simple and works just fine. There are no
enhancements to Win 10 that make CAD programs run better and if you need more
graphics memory or resolution or refresh rate you can get a new card. Our
workstations are all Xenon or Core I7 with 16GB minimum of RAM and 4GB graphics
cards and running the latest Autodesk products in Win 7 is a breeze. If it
ain’t broke …

I have heard Windows 10 and Autosprink don't play well together.

Good morning, forum people -

I have an off topic question that I want to ask people that I trust.

Has anyone that uses Autocad upgraded to Windows 10?
Did the "upgrade" require reinstallation of Autocad or any other other
software?

Help (and thanks), Vince
