I would like to hear if using mechanical tees on dry pipe systems is becoming common practice and if anyone knows of issues that have been encountered.
Also, in systems (wet or dry) that use hot dip galvanised pipe, where the hole is cut for a mech tee, have any issues corrosion issues been encountered if that cut surface is not provided with a protective coating?
