Subject: Cloud ceilings

I have a high school auditorium renovation project with new clouds.

Question: Can I drop the new pendent heads in the spaces between the clouds
rather than actually in the cloud itself (assuming I have proper coverage below
the clouds)?  In other words, do the clouds provide any benefit as far as heat
collection, or would a head located just off the edge of the cloud be just as
good? I would be using intermediate level type sprinklers.

Thanks
