We are having discussions on whether or not a tank located 10° and 15° isothermal lines on Figure 16.1.4 of NFPA 22 2013 ed. will require heating to prevent freezing. It seems clear to me from 16.1.1 that if the Lowest One-Day Mean Temp is below 32° then the tank is subject to freezing and heat shall be provided. We have received differing interpretations of this requirement.
Can anyone provide their thoughts on this interpretation? Nic Johnsen
