If you reference NFPA 13, 8.15.11.2  "Hoods or shields to protect the
electrical equipment" is not a shielding of the sprinkler head.
In some cases the top of the electrical equipment is angled down towards the
front to allow water to run off the equipment without water getting inside.

I don’t have any pictures but I know I have seen one somewhere.
