I thought I did space to the right equipment. I got the cable trays but missed
these conduit runs. We’re looking into long 401 as an option.

Subject: Re: Sprinklers near Conduit runs Obstruction?

Pendent sprinklers can be 1 to 12 inches below ceiling. And if you have ever
heard of a 401 canopy, that would work quite well.

Depending on size of room I would be more inclined to space the sprinklers away
from the conduit and add a few sprinklers if necessary.

Just a couple thoughts / ideas.

I’m protecting a server room. And they are installing sets of conduit piping
close to the ceiling. These are 1” to 1-1/2” conduit with about 1” gap between
them. There are a set of 8 double stack sandwiching unistrut. I’m thinking of
the open grid ceiling when considering whether or not I need to adjust my
sprinkler locations, but I’m not sure this applies in this case. Is there a
better reference to look at for this type of situation?
