NFPA 13 (13ed) Many times we have run into surface mounted lights in the bathrooms of dwelling units where residential pendant sprinklers need to be too far away to miss the obstruction to be practical. If we installed QR standard spray sprinklers pendants in the bathrooms and residential sprinklers thought the dwelling unit else where would we need to pick up a 900sq ft remote area to account for the QR sprinkler?
