If you are only providing enough tank for 150ish gpm, then a 250gpm pump would 
probably do the trick.

As far as the slope goes....just be sure you explain what you are suggesting 
(and be sure they understand).

Subject: Pump & Tank Fed From a Well

I've been asked to provide "hypothetical" sizing for a pump & storage tank 
based on the assumption said tank will be filled from a well. It's a small 
light hazard building, think wedding chapel. Off the top of my head I come up 
with a 5000-gallon tank just based off of a light hazard remote area flowing 
(8) heads for (30) minutes, no hose. Any ideas on "guestimating" a pump size on 
the little to no information available or is this really going down a slippery 
slope?
